Scars Meridian

Scars.
Who am i? If beauty is skin deep?
You can read my palms say that i’m strong.
But read up my sleeves, “You’re weak.”
No
Reach me robeless,
When you breach these cotton sheets,
Breaking down my walls.
affirming my all, En
ergizing the call
ing to be who
we’re craving
To be.

But touch my flawed skin
and Ask about my scars,
Now where do i begin?
‘A past that didn’t last’
my curtain gives a quick report
Before it shuts again.

Where do i begin,
And where will i be?
The truth is past and future Incongruent inside me.

I beg you
Read between the lines
Between those times
That abscure my identity.
You’re questioning me
What? how, what happened to me
But i can’t answer without shuddering!
orRisking hoursof chemistry
we built in vain
if the terrain
is weakness our synergy
is blown to ash again.

Reach me robeless,
When you breach these cotton sheets,
Breaking down my walls.
affirming my all, En
ergizing the call
ing to be who
we’re craving
To be.

I have always been emotional about marks on my skin but this cut, was a learning experience, I learned I have been overworking myself in order to feel self worth. I learned that I needed to also take care of myself and listen to my inner ques that I needed to rest, or start earlier, I needed to set boundaries of abuse against myself. And that learning experience, (despite the poems) felt, Better.

I guess scars can be healing.
